About Us
Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. St. Paul's Reformed Church emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words. Established in 1960, we’re a Christian Church in the Reformed Church in America and are driven by progressive ideas, bold actions, and a strong foundation rooted in Christ.

Our minister, Reverend Dr. Field, is ordained as a Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Reformed Church in America and currently serves, part time, as St. Paul’s spiritual leader and minister.
Dr. Field graduated from New Brunswick Theological Seminary in 2013. In 2021 Dr. Field embarked on an academic journey and her thesis topic: Sudden Illness and Storytelling: Identifying Spiritual Resilience in a Liminal Space integrates her vocation and calling of nursing, medical ethics and spirituality. She is also a Clinical Medical Ethics Consultant for Northwell Health and is an associate professor at the Donald and Barbara Zucker/Northwell School of Medicine.

Christ’s earthly ministry defines her calling to ensure abundant generosity and hospitality in Christian outreach.
Some of Dr. Field’s favorite scripture passages are, in no particular order,
John 3:16-18, Psalm 8, Matthew 22: 36-40, Psalm 133.
St. Paul’s is a Room for All church where no one is turned away from its doors. If you are looking for a church home, we hope you consider visiting St. Paul’s, a place where those who seek, believe or even doubt, are welcome.
